The Problematic Fertility Guide

The problem was an illustration of how eggs decrease with age and their quality changes. A 35-year-old woman holds her mouth and says, "What? It's too late!?" Between the ages of 35 and 50, a wrinkled egg asks, "Can I still go?" to which the sperm respond, "I'm a mature woman killer!" After the age of 50, eggs are described as "closing down."

This portrayal was viewed by many as not only insensitive but also misleading regarding the complexities of fertility.
